Today will be a rant...sorry guys...
What up? It's me, your fellow friend Melanie! So now, I have this little rant that you guys are gonna have to deal with. Okay? Okay. We all know about stereotypes, right? Well, one that I hate is the bisexual stereotype. And the gay one. And the lesbian. And every other one that gets on my nerves. Now granted, I try really hard to pass it off, but I can't hold it in any longer.
Welcome to Why I Hate Stereotypes.
So, we all have that friend who is kinda strange, he's usually a male and he likes fashion. So what? Doesn't mean he's gay. And when people make fun of them. I don't understand. "Hey I like fashion too!" "Ha, GAY!" I don't understand this joke you are coming at. Would you please tell me? Because I'm not understanding nor laughing.
I don't get how people hate Lesbians. It's not like they are going to rape you or anything. Same goes for gay! They're not like coming up behind you, pulling your pants down, and shoving their penis/fingers in your ass. And with lesbian, I think it also goes down with that it is women. So what? We as humans were all born, all raised, all feed, so what's the big deal with them being women? I feel this is really wrong. Real, real wrong.
I'm bisexual, so I understand what they are going through. People think we're sluts. Why? WHy? WHY? WHY?! It's not like we are taking your girlfriend/boyfriend, fucking them, and them giving them back saying, "I had fun with this toy, I might never use it again." LIKE WHY DO YOU THINK THAT? It really gets on my nerves because they're always called sluts and hoes and bitches. WHY!?! Please explain this to me! PLEASE!
If someone, for instance me, has a lot of guy friends and they're a girl, we're sluts. How do you manage that one out? Just because I hang around a lot of guys and they are my friends it doesn't mean I'm a slut, it means I have friends who I talk to and I like to be around. And it shouldn't make a difference if they are male or female. Both have feelings, both are human beings, both have a face and a heart and we should treat them like such. The golden rule is treat others how you want to be treated, so lets just go by that.
People who smile a lot aren't always perfect. All you know is that they smile. They might be torn up inside, trying to survive, on the brim of just saying, "That's it it's too much." But you think, the vocab word for today, think, that they are just the most perfect and happy person ever. This has happened through out our childhood, through out our life, work, and soul, and I really hate it.
Just because people listen to reggae, doesn't mean they're stoners or druggies, or anything like that. It mean they like music that means something to them. Just because they listen to Bob Marley or Dennis Brown or Sean Paul it doesn't mean that they smoke pot or do cocaine or any of that shit. It means they like music that has a beat instead of pop and r&b and that shit. So deal with it, okay? Okay.
I know you guys think this about me. Just because someone speaks their mind, or they say what they think, it doesn't make them a dick or a bitch. It means they are brave enough to say what they want and speak their mind. It means they are willing to tell it as it is, and it's not that they hate everything or they feel your stupid or anything. It's just we speak what we think.
Someone, let's say a girl, likes her body and doesn't want to change in any way possible, that does NOT mean she has sex daily or she is a slut or a whore or any thing like that. It means she loves herself, and that she doesn't wanna be a stick figure, big boobed, big ass whore like other girls. It means she's happy to be herself, and not a fake person like everyone puts her out to be.
Just because someone's on the internet doesn't mean they have no friends. In fact, most people on the internet have a lot if friends in both "real" and "internet" friends. They are some of the most popular, funny, creative, smart, and inventive people ever. Look at Pewdiepie, iisuperwomanii, Jenny Blanke, and even Jen Bishop! They are bloggers, youtubers, tumblr fans, and possibly more!
